Why we love truffles

There are many positive qualities and experiences that have made us passionate about truffles. First of all, truffles belong to that small circle of delicacies – like caviar, lobster, foie gras, oysters or Kobe beef – of which very few examples exist in the world. Yet among all delicacies, only the truffle has an entirely positive story. This means that everyone involved – from the hunter and their dog, to the trader, the chef, and finally the guest – has a positive experience.

The truffle has a magic that no other food has.

It enchants and elevates the dishes prepared with it. So much so that professional chefs consider it the most powerful legitimate flavor enhancer in fine dining. This, however, applies only to truffles of genuine culinary value.
